Enjoy The Present Moment

“Plenty of people miss their share of happiness, not because they never found it, but because they didn’t stop to enjoy it.”

Boy… do I understand this one…. Sometimes, I’m so busy with my nose to the grindstone, I don’t appreciate and enjoy all the blessings I receive, my precious family, good friends and neighbors in present time. So much is an after thought…. I vow to do better!

Join me in enjoying the special moments of this day.

God Bless!

Till Later

P.S. On my way to enjoy…. and appreciate a good meal!

  1. Hi Kathy,
I tried to use your Contact form but could not get it to accept my message – saying something about blocked referrers.

I got your request regarding centering photos in your blog.

There are a number of ways to do this depending on how comfortable you are using the HTML editing mode in WordPress.

Here’s one method you can try using only the Visual editing window (not the HTML editing window).

Right now – on this page, for example:
    https://insightfulnana.com/as-i-see-it/4th-of-july-hot-air-balloon-festival/
    – the images at the top of the page have “align center” assigned to them, but they are sitting inside a paragraph tag (looks like … when you view the source code using View > View Source). This is the same paragraph tag that contains the text to the right of the image. You need to put the text in a separate paragraph.

Try hitting RETURN at the end of one paragraph. Then insert your photo. Then hit RETURN again so that the cursor is on a new line – not the same line as the photo – before inserting more text.

That way, when you assign “align center” to the image, it should be centered in the column. The same goes for text. If the text is in its own paragraph, you should be able to center it using the Visual editing “center” button.

Let me know if this works for you. If not, we can try something else. Other techniques are more complicated, and I would need to try them first.
